Hi everyone! Look that cosmos! It is very beautiful, isn’t it? I hanged out in Nago, Okinawa this weekend. When I was heading to Nago, it suddenly appeared this beautiful cosmos garden, so I am sorry I do not know the exactly address. (I will put Google map on last of this blog, so please check there.) You should head to Nago by route 58. You could see that beautiful view.
The Best Winter Hang Out Plan in Nago, Okinawa
After cosmos garden, I took a lunch at Captain Kangaroo. It is very famous hamburger shop for local people and tourist. Usually we have to wait around 20 to 30 min for it. Their buns and patty are huge! and the source is awesome. The shop atmosphere is also great. It is like Hawaii (I have never been there though).
I ordered Rooburger which is their main hamburger. It was very delicious. There are other special hamburgers, such as Teriyaki, BBQ, Mexican, Japanese and Sparky burger. The stuff recommended me Mexican and Japanese are popular for women. All Hamburgers are their original, so you can eat them only there!
I always looking for dessert after eating. I think most women are so. I found the best gelato cafe nearby Captain Kangaroo. It names Gelato Cafe Lily. Their gelato is made there, and the some ingredient are from Okinawa farms. You could enjoy the real taste of ingredients. I ordered pistachio and chocolate-chip. If you are pistachio lover, you definitely have to eat it. Its taste is very strong and tasty.
Their flavors are total 50, and 18 flavors are sold always in rotation. I ordered two flavors this time, but if you would like to try more, you could order up to three flavors. Beside the cafe, they have chickens and goats. If you are lucky, you could eat goat milk gelato.
In Okinawa, we have lots of wonderful places. I hanged out around Nago which is the north part of Okinawa this time. Especially if the weather is great, you must be able to enjoy Okinawa winter season more moreover, you would feel it is not winter, it is spring here. If you would like to escape from the cold, come to Okinawa 🙂
